Viscose is an artificial fibre obtained by blending plant cellulose and chemical compounds. Commonly known as ‘vegetable silk’, it was created to emulate the softness of silk at a more affordable cost. Viscose is breathable, wear-resistant, absorbs colours well, appearing brighter than natural fabrics, and is also biodegradable.
